T.S. Kist's Wire/less Opening Reception

TS Kist repurposes abandoned technological components and wires to ironically address the evolution of the wireless movement, its impact on human connections, and its subsequent accumulated waste. This opening reception will include live choreography by A.T. Moffett exploring the physicality of connection in the digital age.
Gallery Talk by Sculptor Jim Dessicino
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Jim Dessicino will discuss his nine-foot statue of Edward Snowden, which garnered international attention during its recent appearances in New York City. The statue is currently on display outside the DCCA's front entrance.
Underground Comic Con 2
Adult and kid cosplayers are highly encouraged to come. Comic book artists will be showing their skills on site and there will be superheroes available for photo opportunities.
Supporting Kidds Art Exhibit Closing Reception
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Supporting Kidds provides a compassionate pathway to healing for grieving children and their families, and empowers the community to support them in the grieving process. November 7 will be the last chance to see the week-long Expressions of Grief Art Exhibit at the DCCA.

DCCA Art Lounge in the Lobby
Delaware photographer Jim Graham has worked as an editorial, commercial, and fine art photographer for more than 35 years. Among other honors, Graham was named Southern Photographer of the Year and was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. His fine art photography has been shown throughout Delaware and in galleries in New York, Maine, Indiana, and on Nantucket.
