"I want to avoid the temptation to take an accurate inventory of objects, or to attempt a digitized mapping or explanation that looks "real." Instead I am interested in a feeling response, an approach that is mimetic and subjective at the same time. Hopefully the effect of my work is intimate rather than clinical."
